The Bata–Bacama languages, group A.8 of the Biu–Mandara branch of the Afro-Asiatic family, are spoken in Cameroon and neighboring Nigeria.[1]
The languages are Gudu, Holma, Jimi, Ngwaba, Sharwa, Tsuvan, and the Bwatiye languages (Bata, Bacama, Fali, Gude, Nzanyi, and Zizilivakan).
Holma is extinct.
